The channel’s main audience is manly men with its reality-based, adrenaline-pumping tv shows like ‘Deadliest Catch’ and ‘Ice Road Truckers.’ At the time of the pitch, they had several choices for the channel name and these were my logo designs and renderings for each name — The Block, Grit, Thom, and The Edge.

i was given the direction to make it look like a retro pool party almost tiki looking thing. my first draft was a mix between contemporary and retro, but after some revisions and another push, the black version was more of what they were looking for.
